Artist Liaison / Stage Manager – Unlocked Shoreditch

I joined the team at Unlocked Shoreditch in November 2024, initially supporting as a Duty Manager during the Lost In Light exhibition and various corporate events. As the venue and event portfolio expanded, especially with the launch of our club nights, I had the opportunity to become more involved in artist liaison and event production. This involved coordinating communication with artists and promoters, as well as managing backstage operations and working closely with sound and lighting engineers during our club nights.

Over the last few months, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of brands and artists, including Boiler Room, Deadmau5, Hospital Records, Broadwick Live, Anjunabeats, DJ Mag, Shogun Audio, and Children of Zeus.

Some of my tasks during this period have included:

• Advancing logistics, technical, and hospitality requirements with artists and labels.

• Conduct pre-show checks to confirm all equipment and materials are in place and functioning.

• Upon arrival, greet artists and their teams, and ensure they are escorted to the green room and backstage areas.

• Ensure all agreed-upon rider requests (food, drinks, technical specs, etc.) are fulfilled and professionally presented.

• Act as a liaison between artists, production teams, and other event staff.

• Ensure stage setups are correctly configured and meet the production’s needs.
